Cardo Packtalk Bold vs Slim is a small comparison

In terms of wireless communication devices, technology is advancing at an exponential rate daily. Remember the problems you experienced with your wireless communication gadget a few years ago to better grasp their growth. Poor pairing with other devices, connectivity troubles in unusual regions and distances, sound clarity and overall quality, or controls that are not glove-friendly at all are examples of potential drawbacks. However, Cardo Packtalks Bold turns as a solution. Here are a few comparisons between the cardo pack talk and the slim.

Cardo shines in the area of sound. Both devices use JBL speakers, which deliver excellent sound quality while reducing surrounding noise.

The speakers on the Packtalk Bold Black Edition are 45mm wide, while the ordinary Packtalk Bold and Packtalk Slim are 40mm wide and can comfortably fit in most helmets. High-quality speakers are one of the reasons why Sena couldn’t compete with Cardo’s sound quality.

Bluetooth 4.1 and DMC mesh technology are standard on both smartphones. You may communicate with up to 15 riders using DMC mesh technology. Packtalk bold has a one-to-one rider range of 1.6 km (with antenna extended) while Packtalk Slim has a range of 1.2 km.

If you have more than 6 cyclists connected, you can expand this up to 8 km using DMC, which is more than plenty in my opinion.

Voice Commands

All Cardo devices include voice control for hands-free use. This capability is analogous to the “Hey Siri” or “Okay Google” feature on smartphones, which is used to get instructions or control household appliances. This can be a highly important and life-saving function in instances where you are unable to remove your hands from the handlebars.

You may simply say “Hey Cardo” to control all of your device’s functionality, from making calls to changing the music to changing FM stations. Once you’ve mastered the use of voice commands, your riding experience will be much more enjoyable. This can also come in handy if you’re having trouble operating the device while wearing gloves.

Connectivity of Apps

If you like, you may also connect to your interface using the Cardo Connect app. The Cardo Connect app provides comprehensive remote control over your device.

The software allows you to make phone calls, interact with other users, change music, and listen to FM radio.
